Global Champions Tour
Vienna Masters 2012 - Ein Bericht
Today I was privilaged to go to the final Vienna Masters 2012 Global Champions Tour. Despite the cold weather Frau Holländer, Simon, Elena, Clara and I enjoyed as we cheered the horse riding.
It was categorised in different sessions and each session had a different activity. There was the session where all the participants competed among themselves, I was surprised by the demonstrations that went on. The horses were given instructions and they followed each of them. It was such an amazing day!
I would not call it dancing but one of the things that I really enjoyed was to see the horses moving in different styles and this went along with the rythms of the music. Being my first time to see that kind of thing, I was surprised and I felt moved.
I also noted that one of the horse riders was not physcically fit and he used helping sticks to walk and yet he was able to ride the horses. I learnt that it doesn't matter whether you are handicapped or not one can do do anything all one needs is the ability and interest and one can persue all.
The costumes the horse riders wore were well done and the arena was well done too but kept changing according to the activity that was taking place.
It was an exciting and interesting experience for me and loved it, learning and seing new things and expecially from the horses was amazing.
